I don't know why I am continually shocked at the lengths liberals will go to attack conservative, pro-Life Christians. They respect no bounds of common decency. A recent example was Fox News Radio show host Alan Colmes who mocked the grief of GOP Presidential candidate Rick Santorum in the death of his 2 day old son. Apparently he took the infant's body home. People handle grief in different ways.

Mr. Santorum's way of handling the tragic loss of his baby son may not be Colme's way, or your way or mine -- but for Colmes to mock him on national television was beyond the scope of all decency. What a despicable thing for Colmes to do! (You can see the whole disgusting incident at the link at the end of this post.)
The Santorum family's time with their deceased baby son and sibling was a deeply private grief and had no place on national television -- particularly when Colmes used it as fodder to try to discredit Rick Santorum politically. Such sorrow should be off limits for mockery regardless of the man's political stripe. Perhaps that's how Mr. Santorum dealt with his sorrow at the death of his baby son. Maybe he saw it as a teachable moment for his other children about death and loss after their baby brother died. After all, they had been joyously anticipating his birth for months. Whatever the reasons, Rick Santorum's grief was private. Period. Only a beastly man would do what Alan Colmes did.
I wonder why Fox News would continue to employ a man like Colmes who clearly does not understand basic human decency. Watch the whole despicable incident here.

Although I completely agree, it may not be fair to single out liberal media. I think you can find examples of this rhetoric from both sided of the spectrum. I recall Rush Limbah mocking MJ Fox in a similar fashion for a national audience.
